About Decision Making
Maybe it’s not a good idea to write in English because it somehow seems stupid to me and I guess my thoughts will be limited due to my vocabulary. But using a foreign language might help you think more clearly. I don’t know.
Just came across a thought that maybe one should have a clear estimation of the value/revenue and costs of major stuffs to determine whether to quit or continue. It seems like a very simple and boring idea, but I just realized that most people, including myself, constantly do things without the awareness of this idea.
I was talking about a crush experience years ago, and I suddenly think that I would like to invest in the person because the person is someone I truly admire and have confidence in. And I just realize that I should apply this method to everyone in my life, meaning that I should decide whether to spend time with them depending on whether or not I would like to invest in them. You don’t have to invest in the whole person, just regard them as assets that can be split. As long as there exist one valuable subset, then it is worth investing in.
